Aegina
Greek island Aegina is next to Athens. It is about 85 square kilometres big and is about 17 n/m from the port of Piraeus. The island's resident population is about 11,000. It is an excellent destination for visitors wanting a relaxing, quiet holiday which can be combined with visits to Athens, and other Saronic Gulf islands.
Agia Marina
The holiday summer resort of Agia Marina is 9,0 miles from the capital of the island. Agia Marina is a coastal village with a wonderful organized beach, surrounded by pine forests and blue sea. Numerous taverns, cafes, hotels, pubs and clubs work in Agia Marina from April until end of October. Agia Marina has a little port from where ferries have everyday schedule to/from the harbour of Piraeus.
How to get here:
-Using the airport bus "To Piraeus", ?93, trip lasts about one hour (for bus timetable please check www.oasa.gr, ticket cost about 3,00 €/person).
